Custom shortened rear bumper brackets for 1935–1936 Ford cars. These rear bumper brackets are engineered to tuck the bumper in tighter than factory braces allow—ideal for builders lowering the car or cleaning up the rear stance on a traditional hot rod.
Cut and formed in-house from 1/4" mild steel—no lightweight stamped material here. The rear bumper brackets ship as a pair (left and right), with direct bolt-on fitment using the factory mounting pattern and existing hardware. No drilling or additional fabrication required.
For reference, these shortened rear bumper brackets are built off the same mounting footprint as factory-length equivalents—Ford OEM 48-17787, Bob Drake 68-17787-SR, Rock Valley 170-1541-SR—but shortened to achieve that tucked bumper look modern builders want.
