🔥 Ford Flathead V8 Fuel Pump Stand 48-9415 — New Old Stock, Original Box 🔥

The fuel pump stand that bolts to the block on a 1935–1948 Ford flathead V8, with its oil control sleeve. Never installed. It came out of the box under a film of cosmoline with the yellow zinc plating on the flange still bright, and it has been compared side by side against known-good 48-9415 stands here. It matches.

The box is where it gets interesting. This one was built by Ford-Werke AG in Köln, Germany and packed for German military supply in May 1964. Cologne built the 239 cubic inch side-valve V8 — same displacement as the Ford and Mercury flathead — from the wartime V3000S through the Ford Rhein and the FK 3500 and on into the Ford G398 SAM, the Bundeswehr three-ton truck. The typed supply label is still stuck to the wax-coated carton, NATO stock number and all.

Anybody who has tried to save a pitted or previously-drilled stand knows what an unused one is worth.

FITMENT & APPLICATIONS

1935–1948 Ford flathead V8, 81A and 59A. 1939–1948 Mercury flathead V8. Ford-Werke Köln 239 cubic inch side-valve V8 as fitted to the Ford V3000S, Ford Rhein, Ford FK 3500 and Ford G398 SAM. Early Ford and traditional hot rod builds running the 1935–48 stand. Does not fit the V8-60. Additional applications may exist beyond those listed.

CONDITION

New old stock, never installed, exactly as it came out of the box — see every photo. The carton is sixty years old and shows it: toned paper, dried and split sealing tape, and the inner wrapper torn where the part was unwrapped to be photographed. The push rod is not included and no paperwork comes with it. Not fitted to an engine or tested. A small stamped mark on the barrel sits under the cosmoline and has been left that way.

BUYER NOTES

Out of a garage lot bought from a retired Southern California restorer stepping away from the hobby and clearing out what he isn’t taking with him. More from the same lot is going up, so have a look through the store. Study all the photos — they are part of the description and show the actual item you will get. Confirming fitment for your engine and build is on the buyer, and applications beyond those listed may exist. Questions welcome before you buy.
