šŸ”„ RARE VINTAGE SHARP C82 — CHEVY STOVEBOLT INLINE-6 DUAL CARB INTAKE MANIFOLD šŸ”„

Here's a piece of California hot rod history hiding in plain sight. The Sharp C82 is one of the more elusive vintage performance intakes ever produced for Chevrolet's beloved Stovebolt inline-six family — a genuine period piece from the golden age of American hot rodding, not a repro, not a cast-off from an unknown source. If you know what this casting is, you already know why it matters.

FEATURES & DETAILS

āœ… Authentic Sharp C82 cast aluminum intake manifold āœ… Correct "C82" casting mark — confirmed and visible āœ… Dual carburetor (2x1) configuration — period-correct hot rod setup āœ… Traditional finned cast aluminum construction āœ… Genuine vintage speed equipment — not a reproduction āœ… Original unpolished, unblasted surface — honest age and patina intact

KNOWN FITMENT & APPLICATIONS

Designed for Chevrolet inline-6 "Stovebolt" engines:

  • Chevy 216ci — 1937–1953
  • Chevy 235ci — 1941–1962
  • Chevy 261ci — 1954–1962 (trucks)

Commonly used with dual Rochester or Stromberg single-barrel carburetors in traditional 2x1 configurations. A natural fit for period-correct hot rods, custom trucks, traditional builds, inline-six performance projects, and serious automobilia or garage display collections. Additional applications beyond those listed may exist — buyers are responsible for confirming fitment.

CONDITION

Vintage used condition with honest age patina consistent with long-term storage. Surfaces are unpolished and unmodified — exactly as found. No cracks or structural repairs were observed during inspection; however, this manifold has not been pressure tested or installed and is sold on that basis. Review all photos carefully — they are part of the description and show the exact piece you will receive.

BACKGROUND

This manifold came out of a recent buyout from a longtime car collector and hot rod builder who spent decades assembling a serious collection and is now downsizing. Additional vintage speed equipment, classic car parts, and automobilia from the same collection will be listed — worth checking back.
