A complete turn signal conversion, still in the box, from when signals were something you added yourself.
Before directional signals were standard equipment, you bought them in a box and bolted them on. This is one of those boxes — Signal-Stat Kit 'C', part number 9W-6V, complete and never installed, from Signal-Stat Corporation of Brooklyn, New York.
Everything is here: a pair of Signal-Stat No. 9 lamps with clear lenses, their rubber mounting gaskets, the mounting hardware, an uncut coil of the original wire, the original installation instruction sheet, and the printed box itself. The lamp bases still wear their yellow 6 VOLT stickers. Finding these lamps loose is easy enough; finding a kit complete in the box with the paperwork is a different matter.
The box lists the cars Signal-Stat had in mind — Chrysler, De Soto, Dodge, Ford, Hudson, Lincoln, Mercury, Nash, Olds, Packard, Plymouth, Studebaker, Willys and Jeep, mostly 1940 through 1952. In practice these are universal fender-mount lamps and they turn up on plenty of cars outside that list; the seller runs a set on a 1939 Ford.
⚡ This is a 6-volt kit. If your car is 12 volt, this isn't your kit without changes. Worth saying up front.

That's Signal-Stat's own suggested list, not a hard limit. These are universal accessory lamps that mount to a fender or body panel with the supplied hardware, and they suit period hot rod, custom and bomb builds well beyond the cars named — the seller runs a set on a 1939 Ford.

✅ Condition Summary
New old stock, complete and never installed. The lamps are clean with intact clear lenses, the 6 VOLT stickers are present on the bases, the hardware and the uncut wire are unused, and the instruction sheet is intact with fold lines. The original box shows its age with shelf wear and edge softening as pictured. Untested — these have never been wired up, and the lamps have not been disassembled, so whether bulbs are fitted is not confirmed. Sold as-is on that basis. Please look through every photo.
