🔥 Abrasive Air Spark Plug Cleaner — Unused, with Media, Bag and Full Instructions 🔥

Bench or wall mounted abrasive spark plug cleaner — the shop tool that blasts carbon and deposits off a fouled plug in a few seconds of trigger time instead of you scraping at it with a wire brush. Drop the plug into the rubber seat electrode-down, pull the trigger, and the air and abrasive do the work. Anyone running a flathead, a tractor or a vintage outboard on hard-to-find plugs will get their money back out of it.

This one appears never to have been used. Gloss black body, bright chrome clamp and hardware, the bag of abrasive media still sealed, and an unmarked cloth collection bag. A brass quick-connect nipple is already fitted to the 1/4" inlet — the instructions note the union and coupler are sold separately, so somebody bought that and never got around to using the tool.

The full three-page assembly and operating instruction sheet comes with it, with the specification block, the mounting diagrams and the complete nineteen-item parts list. That sheet is usually the first thing to go missing.

FITMENT & APPLICATIONS

Universal shop tool. Needs a compressor with the regulator set to 90 PSI or below. Suits 14 mm and 18 mm plugs; the instruction sheet notes the rubber cover may need securing for the larger 18 mm plugs. Additional uses may exist beyond those listed.

CONDITION

New and unused, and appears complete. It has not been connected to air or function tested, and the instruction sheet is folded from storage with a small tear at the staple corner. Worth knowing if you have not run one: blast in short bursts of a few seconds, then switch to air only and blow the plug out thoroughly, and re-gap before installing. Degrease and dry a plug before blasting it — oil left in the firing end packs abrasive under the insulator, which is the one mistake that gives these tools a bad name.

BUYER NOTES

Out of a garage lot bought from a retired Southern California restorer stepping away from the hobby and selling off what he isn’t taking with him. More from that lot is going into the store. Look through all the photos closely — they are part of the description and show the actual tool and everything that comes with it. Confirming this suits your compressor and your plugs is on the buyer. Questions welcome before purchase.

Condition Detail
New and unused, and appears complete per Chris. Not connected to air and not function tested. Instruction sheet folded from storage with a small tear at the staple corner. A brass quick-connect nipple has been added to the 1/4 in inlet - an addition, not factory; the instructions state the union and coupler are sold separately. The tool carries NO brand marking anywhere; identification as Harbor Freight / Central Pneumatic item 32860 comes from a line-for-line match to that factory manual (REV 04/04), so brand is set to Unbranded and 32860 is named in the copy only. NOT collectible - a 2004-era import shop tool. Never describe it as vintage or antique, and never claim it restores plugs to new.
